Mac is terrible. All you Apple fanboys are the biggest cockguzzlers ever. Windows may not be any better, but it Apple had as much market share as MS, they would be getting steamrolled.

Humor only works when it’s actually accurate. Sorry but it’s a rubbish myth that Mac has no games titles when you can actually just go out and see them displayed at PC World etc. And also the user UrMUM’saBITch is your typical Apple obsessive who goes around giving Mac users a bad name. And Lol if Apple had as much market share as MS they would be the exact same as they are now, just more people would like them and more people would hate them, allthough they wouldn’t be as hated as Microsoft are today. I don’t hate MS, but they need to get there act together if a company like Apple is giving them competition.

@ Dave Cooper….. You sir are a moron! If u take it down to function, there is indeed nothing a mac can do that a PC cant, but there are plenty a pc can do(due to mostly Apples shite license agreements) that a mac can’t do. Ontop of that all the amounts of software available for a pc as a pose to the mac is just staggering. So its simple… if u’re a fucking moron that wants something that looks pretty and is more an image status, invest in a mac. If not welcome to the world of functionality buy a pc ;D

It’s not about software from what i understand, it’s how the computer is made. mac is made with parts from only one or two companies and MS is made with parts from several companies, so it makes it easier for MS computer to get viruses and such, leaves them more vulnerable, but you can just get virus protection if you want. I have a mac, but i don’t do anything crazy like play games or anything, i just use it for normal everyday use and i think it’s a little better than my last computer that MS. Again, I’m speaking of computer just out of the box…
I”M NOT IN ANY WAY A COMPUTER EXPERT, I JUST LEARNED THIS FROM A COMPUTER SALESMAN IN BEST BUY HAHA.

Macintosh computers are no more well built than standard PC computers. You can purchased brushed aluminum cases for PC computers as well, including in the notebook line. You will pay the same price as a mac for it but, hey, Apple sells them for that much, so why shouldn’t we? The age old criticism that there aren’t many games on the Mac is true, to an extent. Now that Steam is available they are working very hard to correct that. The other mistake that people make is that there is no harmful malware for a mac. This is blatantly false and virii and malware abound for the Macintosh. Just the other day someone was telling me about how he had managed to get a keylogger on his mac and got a bunch of his information phished. Simple matter of viruses is such. The more user’s you have on the platform, the more likely someone is going to take advantage of it. Defcon has showed for the last several years that the OS is not more secure than Windows, and can be hacked, exploited and destroyed just as easily.

So to sum up, Macs are just an overpriced computer in a shiny case that are just as capable as PC’s in all endeavors, including the negative ones. The only true difference is the OS, which is kinda pretty, but not 500 USD pretty to me.

Interesting post made here. One thing I’d like to say is that most professional areas consider the Bachelors Degree like thejust like the entry level standard for an online college diploma. Whilst Associate Certifications are a great way to get started, completing ones Bachelors presents you with many doors to various professions, there are numerous internet Bachelor Diploma Programs available via institutions like The University of Phoenix, Intercontinental University Online and Kaplan. Another concern is that many brick and mortar institutions give Online variations of their college diplomas but normally for a drastically higher fee than the institutions that specialize in online qualification programs.

Ok, I’m gonna blow this thing apart, and vote for linux ;)
Microsoft wins on compatibility, due to their almost monopoly-like percentage of the IT market. However, Macs have less viruses aimed at them, that is true. Yes, some slip true, but it’ll generally be a lot less. Secondly, Mac have a nicer OS than MS. This is also true, because Windows sucks ass, although I will admit that Windows 7 is quite nice at the moment :)
So I can probably say that Macs are better than PCs. The kicker though? They have the compatibiliy of a penguin with a fighter jet. Um, not happening. Mac don’t WANT to be compatible, they want your money. Apple are such hipsters cunt (or marketting geniuses, whichever you prefer) that they want anyone that uses their products to use all their products. iPods, iPhones, Macs, the whole deal. MS also want this, but they at least give people the option not to use all their products.
The choice is between functionality and compatability then. OR IS IT? I’d like to inform you all of Linux. Let’s take a well-known example, Ubuntu. Lovely OS, nicer than Mac or MS. It’s free, and it made for the user, not to screw your money. Anything you need, it can download a driver in seconds. Need software? Most large software companies program for Linux too, and for the ones that don’t, there are usually equally-competant alternative programs.
Now, argue with that. BOOM. Knowledge bomb on your asses….

Oh, and Linux gets considerably less viruses than a Mac, I should add. Put that in your hipster pipe and smoke it…
